Alpacas
Alpacas
We have been raising award-winning alpacas on our farm for over 25 years. Alpacas are raised for their fine, warm and luxurious fleece that makes beautiful clothing of all types. As the smallest member of the camelid family, they are timid but social and curious. With over 70 alpacas on the farm and many babies (called crias) due each spring you’ll have plenty of opportunity to immerse yourself into the wonderful world of alpacas.

The long hair on the Highland Cows is actually an unusual double coat of hair which allows them to withstand the worst of climates. Oily on the outside and a downy undercoat underneath. Our girls are affectionate to the max. If you love to be kissed, licked and loved from head to toe…be sure to stop by and say hello to Anna, Elsa and Juliet.

Nigerian Dwarf Goats
Nigerian Dwarf Goats
The Nigerian Dwarf Goat is a miniature dwarf goat of West African origin. Their small stature means they do not require as much space as larger dairy goat breeds and their gentle and friendly personalities make them good companion pets. They are easy to handle and even small children can be at ease with these little goats. They love to play and jump and get into all kinds of mischief. They love people and love attention and our current goat herd is expanding with the addition of our babies this spring! We LOVE OUR GOATS and you will too!
Red Kangaroos
Red Kangaroos
Native to Australia with an average lifespan of 20 years. Males are larger than females and can weigh up to 200 pounds when fully grown. Females are about half that size. We currently have two female kangaroos on the farm, Lily and Poppy. Both are gentle with people and are social and love attention. They can be scared at loud noises and running at them so we encourage quiet voices and slow movements to best get them to realize you are a “farm friend” and safe and fun to interact with. They can be affectionate and loving as they get to know you!
Navajo Angora Goats
Navajo Angora Goats
Angora Goats are one of the most famous goat breeds in the world. This breed is usually smaller than other domestic sheep and goats. Wallaby
Wallabies are widespread across mainland Australia, Tasmania, and Papua New Guinea. All wallabies are marsupials, the young are called joeys. They have a pointed snout, large ears and a fur coat that can be colored gray, rufous (reddish brown), brown, black, or white. They tend to be more active in the evening an early morning, especially those in dry areas. We currently have one female wallaby on the farm, June. Sweet and gentle with people and once she gets to know and trust you, she loves attention. Like the kangaroos, she is cautious at loud noises or when someone walks up to them too quickly, so we encourage all visitors to approach them slowly and quietly so that she has time to realize you are there to love and respect her. She can be affectionate and loving once you have earned her trust and is often found napping on her “day bed” inside her shelter throughout the day.
