Red Kangaroos

Native to Australia with an average lifespan of 20 years. Males are larger than females and can weigh up to 200 pounds when fully grown. Females are about half that size. We currently have two female kangaroos on the farm, Lily and Poppy. Both are gentle with people and are social and love attention. They can be scared at loud noises and running at them so we encourage quiet voices and slow movements to best get them to realize you are a “farm friend” and safe and fun to interact with. They can be affectionate and loving as they get to know you!
