Capybara Encounter
Hang out with the internet's chillest animal
Private Encounter Only
Our capybaras are not part of the Self-Guided Farm Tour. Booking a Capybara Encounter is the only way to guarantee seeing them during your visit.
The Self-Guided Farm Tour is not included in this encounter.
You can add it for $15 per person when you book your encounter, and explore our 20 acres and 20+ animal species before or after your session.
On Mondays and Tuesdays the farm is closed to regular Self-Guided Farm Tour guests. Encounter guests who add the tour may still walk the farm until we close at 5:00 PM.
Read more about the Self-Guided Farm Tour.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early. If you're late, that time cuts into your experience - no extensions can be given. All animals are on schedules that cannot be interfered with for the safety and comfort of our animals.
Animal-Led Experience: Our capybaras have a private retreat space and choose their own level of engagement. Behaviors may include resting, exploring, gentle movement, or observing their surroundings. Interaction levels may vary from visit to visit, and specific behaviors are not guaranteed. Staff guide the entire session, support calm interaction when appropriate, and prioritize animal comfort at all times.
