Pick Your Ambassador
One animal. Twenty minutes. Entirely your group.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time. Sessions run back to back and we cannot extend a late start.
This is an animal-led encounter. Animal participation and the type of interaction vary based on the animals' comfort and care needs. We cannot guarantee holding, touching, or any particular kind of interaction on a given day.
Private Encounter Only
The Self-Guided Farm Tour is not included in this encounter.
You can add it for $15 per person when you book your encounter, and explore our 20 acres and 20+ animal species before or after your session.
On Mondays and Tuesdays the farm is closed to regular Self-Guided Farm Tour guests. Encounter guests who add the tour may still walk the farm until we close at 5:00 PM.

Choose One
Your group picks a single ambassador experience for the session. You are booking one of the four below, not all four.
Prehensile-Tailed Porcupines
Spend your session with our prehensile-tailed porcupines, including Pickles, and learn how they use their tails to climb.
Armadillos Up Close
Meet our armadillos up close. This session may include our Southern three-banded armadillos, Artie and Athena, and our screaming hairy armadillos.
Skunks Up Close
Get to know our de-scented striped skunk ambassadors and find out why they are so widely misunderstood.
Tortoise Spa Experience
Give our African spurred sulcata tortoises a spa session, with brushing and enrichment they genuinely enjoy.
Coatis are not part of Pick Your Ambassador. You can meet them on the Ambassador Animals Experience.

Questions
Do we meet all four animals?
No. Your group chooses one of the four experiences when you book. If you would like to meet every ambassador species in one visit, the Ambassador Animals Experience is the longer encounter that does that, at approximately 60-75 minutes.
Will we get to hold the animal?
We cannot promise that. Animal participation and the type of interaction vary based on each animal's comfort and care needs on the day. Your guide will tell you what is possible during your session.
Does this include walking the farm?
No. The Self-Guided Farm Tour is separate, and you can add it for $15 per person when you book this encounter.
Can a larger group book?
The booking limit is 6 guests. If you have a larger party already booked into an otter or capybara encounter, call us and we will see what we can arrange.
