That's Casey, holding one of our newest crias. Since Majestic Meadows started as an alpaca farm, these little faces will always hold a special place here — and with cria season underway, there's no better time to visit.

Cria Season Is On
Crias are born April through September, and right now is the heart of that window. They show up curious, finding their legs for the first time. It doesn't take long before they're bouncing everywhere. They grow fast, so this run doesn't last long.

Fun Fact
Baby alpacas are called crias.
They typically weigh 15–20 pounds at birth, can stand within an hour, and start humming softly to their mothers within days. If you listen closely on a visit, you can hear it.
