Meet Kel & Tom the Heritage Turkey
|
|
That's Kel with Tom, one of our heritage turkeys. Tom is the proud father of two other male turkeys that also call Majestic Meadows home, and you'll often spot all three strutting around the farm together. Turkeys are surprisingly social birds with big personalities — when Tom puffs up his feathers and struts, he's showing off and feeling sure of himself.
Stop by on your self-guided walking tour to meet Tom and the rest of the flock, along with all the other animals that call Majestic Meadows home.

Kel has always had a soft spot for the turkeys here on the farm. One of her favorite things to do is hand-feed them green grapes — one of their favorite treats — and with plenty of patience, she's even taught some of them to jump up to grab a snack.

Welcome to the Farm
Meet Midnight Splash
Some evenings on the farm bring extra special moments — and Wednesday, June 24 was one of them. Meet Midnight Splash, the newest little addition to our mini donkey herd!
She arrived late that evening, and it didn't take long for this adorable girl to start figuring things out. Within no time she was standing, walking, nursing, running, and even trying out a few adorable little bucks!
Her name was inspired by her beautiful dark coloring and her parents, Francesca Sunshine and Itsy Bitsy Celebrity Splash.
Donkey moms are incredibly attentive and protective, staying close while their babies learn, explore, and gain confidence. One of our favorite parts of welcoming a new baby is getting to watch the bond between a mother and her little one!
We already can't wait to watch Midnight Splash grow, meet the rest of the herd, and see her personality shine. We're looking forward to sharing more of her journey with all of you.

Free Bonus Event
Buggin’ Out
Buggin’ Out, presented by Lucas and Kel of K&L's Little Zoo Reptiles and Exotics! Come on out and meet some awesome snakes, bugs, frogs, and more.
It's a free bonus event, running 1–4 PM. A walking tour admission is required to attend — as long as you've purchased your walking tour, this one's on us.

Mid-Summer on the Farm
We're in the thick of summer now. This spring's babies, the goats and alpaca crias alike, are growing fast, the pastures are green, and there's no shortage of personality on every corner of the property.

● One holiday note: the farm is open Friday, July 4 with special holiday hours, 10 AM – 3 PM
|
|
● Open daily through August 31, 10 AM – 5 PM (last admission 3:30 PM)
|
|
● $15 online | $16.50 at the door | ages 2 and under free

● Weekly Goat Yoga (Saturdays) and Junior Farmers (Wednesdays) running all summer

Fun Fact
The fleshy flap over a turkey's beak is called a snood.
A snood changes size with the bird's mood and helps turkeys communicate. The more confident the turkey, the longer it tends to get.

Saturday Mornings Are for Goat Yoga
If you haven't tried it, Goat Yoga is exactly as ridiculous as it sounds — friendly goats climbing, nibbling, and wandering across your mat while you stretch. It runs Saturdays, 9 to 10 AM, May through September. Ages 12 and up, $40/person, and bring your own mat, since we don't provide them.
